Shopping for your next copier lease in Toronto is a lot like shopping for your next car. It’s easy to collect all the information you want – the type of car, the price, the leasing options versus the purchasing options… The hard part is making an actual decision. I will be the first to admit that the copier technology has advanced so far, most of the models do the same 4 basic functions. They all print, copy, scan and fax in colour. What more do you need?
That’s precisely why I wrote this Ultimate Buyer’s Guide, to give businesses in like you the tools and information to look beyond the bare bones technology of a copier and into the softer buying criteria that make leasing your next copier in Toronto a positive and lasting experience!
Lease a Copier in Toronto – Who is your Sales Representative?
A good sales representative can make or break a sale. I truly believe this. Great sales people see beyond making the initial sale. They are account managers that take care of our customers for years (even decades) to ensure they have a long-lasting copier that functions without fail. Because when the office copier fails, it’s just like when your WiFi goes down. All hell breaks loose!
At my company Business Systems, all of our sales reps are given the title “Sales Executive”. I do this to empower my people to act as true professionals when dealing with our customers and prospects. No matter what the challenge, our sales force is surrounded by the right people, tools and technology to resolve your copier problems.
One thing I am truly appreciative about is my sales team. I have a 20-year working relationship with two of my top Sales Executives who have carved out their own careers by going above and beyond in service to their customers. I can’t tell you how many times a customer has decided to select a different vendor when leasing their copier in Toronto, only to call our same sales rep 5 years later and give us the contract. We are in this for the long-term!
So the next time a copier sales rep comes knocking on your doorstep, who are you going to call? Business Systems, that’s who!
Lease a Copier in Toronto – How well dressed is your Service Technician?
As my Polish father used to tell me, “Frankie, first impressions count!” I’m a firm believer that how you dress is how you conduct yourself as a business professional. Too often I see service technicians from other companies walk into their customer’s place of business wearing scrubby pants, an old golf shirt and facial hair that hasn’t been trimmed in weeks. That’s not how my service technicians dress!
Appearances matter. To me it’s important that my service team’s appearance matches the reliability and credibility we are selling to our customers.
Lease a Copier in Toronto – How did you come across our company?
Everybody wants to buy a copier like they buy a book off Amazon; go online, look at the products and select the one with the lowest price.
When buying office technology, sometimes it is good to put a little more time and effort into finding a great vendor that may not invest as much into their digital marketing efforts. Sometimes, great vendors rely on REFERRALS.
Do you know of other business in Toronto that lease a copier? Do you trust their opinion and judgement? If so, why not ask them for the name of the company they leased their copier from?
Referrals are an excellent way to instantly rate a potential vendor on their reputation, price and ability to deliver. So go on, give that business next door a call and ask them for some recommendations on whether or not to call Business Systems! 😉
Lease a Copier in Toronto – Summary
Whether you are buying or lease your next copier in Toronto, remember to do these 3 things:
- Reference check the Sales Representative – Who are they? Are they a person of their word? Do you they have years of experience and a good reputation?
- Review the Service Technicians – Do they look credible and reliable? Do they look professional? (And do they pass the sniff test?)
- Ask for referrals from your business neighbours and contacts. You never know how great a potential vendor is until you ask for someone else’s recommendation.
That’s all I have for now!
